The Israeli government announced Monday that it has received over 50,000 tons of military equipment — including armored vehicles and munitions — from the United States during its assault on the Gaza Strip.
United Nations aid operations in Gaza ground to a halt on Monday after Israel issued new evacuation orders on Sunday for Deir Al-Balah in the central Gaza Strip where the UN operations center was located, said a senior UN official.

Available for a limited number of interviews, Nader just wrote the piece “Exposing the Gaza Death Undercount” for the Capitol Hill Citizen.
Nader writes: “The following probative evidence and professional assessments point to a death toll of over 300,000 Palestinians in Gaza with that number at least doubling by end of the year. …
“Gaza presents additional obstacles. For years, Netanyahu has barred entry by journalists, including Israelis, from free and independent reporting there. …
“With over 100,000 bombs and missiles, plus daily tank shelling and ruthless sniper fire, there has been massive destruction of apartment buildings, congested marketplaces, crowded refugee camps, hospitals and their surrounding huddled homeless masses of families, clinics, ambulances, bakeries, schools, universities, mosques, churches, roads, electricity networks, critical water mains — just about everyone and everything. …
“In July, the prestigious UK medical journal The Lancet put out a study of the Gaza undercount conservatively concluding that ‘it is not implausible to estimate that up to 186,000 or even more deaths could be attributable to the current conflict in Gaza.’ …
“On November 8, 2023, Assistant Secretary of State for Near Eastern Affairs Barbara Leaf said at a hearing before the House Foreign Affairs Committee that the numbers of dead are ‘very high, frankly, and it could be they’re even higher than are being cited.’ That was the last time that Biden administration officials were allowed to publicly declare an undercount.”
See Nader’s recent interview with Briahna Joy Gray, where he lays out his case, including his argument that both Netanyahu and Hamas have an interest in undercounting the Palestinian dead in Gaza.
In March, Nader wrote the piece “Stop the Worsening UNDERCOUNT of Palestinian Casualties in Gaza.”
