Deborah Toler, a former Senior Research Analyst at the Institute for Food and Development Policy (Food First), has worked in Africa and has written extensively about international trade and development issues.

Matthew Hoh is a disabled Marine Corps veteran of the Iraq War and former Afghan War State Department Officer. In 2009, after being appointed to the Foreign Service, Hoh resigned his post in Afghanistan over the Obama administration’s escalation of the Afghan War.
