RANIA MASRI
Assistant director of the Institute for Environmental Studies at the University of Balamand in northern Lebanon, Masri is contributing to the new web pages Siege of Lebanon and Electronic Lebanon. She is particularly documenting attacks on the Lebanese civilian infrastructure.

RAMI EL-AMINE
Rami El-Amine, Bilal’s brother, is also originally from southern Lebanon and has been in daily contact with Bilal. He is a founding member of SUSTAIN (Stop U.S. Tax-funded Aid to Israel Now) and is organizing a demonstration on Tuesday, July 18, 5 p.m. at the White House.

BASSAM HADDAD
Haddad has just arrived in Damascus from Beirut and plans to return to Beirut shortly. He is assistant professor at St. Joseph’s University and scholar-in-residence at the University of Pennsylvania. He is editor of the Arab Studies Journal and director of the documentaries “About Baghdad” and “Arabs and Terrorism.” He is currently at work on a book about Syria’s political economy.
