Israel Bombing Tent Camp During “Ceasefire”

Israeli strikes hit the al-Mawasi tent camp near Khan Younis in southern Gaza on Wednesday, see video. Israeli attacks have killed at least 360 Palestinians and injured 922 since the latest so-called “ceasefire” in Gaza began.

The Israeli military used bulldozers to bury Palestinians killed while trying to reach food aid near the Zikim crossing in northern Gaza, a new CNN report shows, with some bodies pushed into shallow, unmarked graves and others left exposed to decompose or be scavenged by animals. See video

Amira Hass in Haaretz reports: “The IDF Is Building a Fence Through the Jordan Valley, Cutting Off Palestinians From 11k Acres of Their Land.” Quds News Network reports: “Israeli settlers abducted Palestinian youth Owais Hammam from Ramallah, subjected him to severe beatings and torture, held him captive, and attempted to kill him.” See video

Drop Site News reports: “The UN is demanding an investigation after Israeli forces killed two Gaza children — brothers Fadi and Goma Abu Assi, ages 8 and 10 — in a targeted drone strike when they were collecting firewood. Israel acknowledged carrying out the attack, claiming the boys were ‘two terrorists’ crossing the yellow line who posed an ‘imminent threat.’” The outlet also reports: “Israel to open Rafah crossing for exits only.”

Jeremy Scahill reports: “Israel announced its intent to continue violating the ceasefire term regarding the Rafah crossing. It now says it will open it, but only for Palestinians to leave. Israel is violating nearly every point of the agreement in one form or another and continues to kill daily.”
