The U.S. government just vetoed another ceasefire resolution at the United Nations Security Council in a 14-1 vote.

Jereski is a lawyer and activist in New York City who has spent much of the last year organizing meetings with delegations of various countries as well as protests around the UN. He has been urging the General Assembly to use Uniting for Peace to overcome the U.S. veto and he has been urging countries to impose sanctions on Israel; see past news releases. More protests are planned around the UN this week.
