Various media report that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu plans to travel to the United States in the coming days and remain in Washington early next week.
The International Criminal Court issued an arrest warrant in 2024 for Netanyahu and other Israeli leaders.
This week, a legal challenge was filed against Trump’s sanctions against the ICC.
In “Iran Sent Message to JD Vance Warning that Kushner and Witkoff Were ‘Abusing’ Their Inside Access to Negotiations,” Drop Site News reports: “Iranian negotiators also expressed concern about repeated leaks from Kushner to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.”
The Palestine Center for Human Rights reports: “Currently, 20,863 patients suffering from serious illnesses remain on waiting lists for permission to travel abroad for medical treatment, including 5,342 children under the age of 18. Among them, 2,194 patients are in critical need of urgent medical evacuation, while 189 patients are in extremely critical condition and face an imminent risk of death.”

Mounir Rabih writes that the U.S. government “aims to establish full control over the Gulf, the Strait of Hormuz and the eastern Mediterranean, coordinating with Israel on some fronts and with Turkey on others, in order to dominate the energy corridors supplying China and Europe.”
Trita Parsi writes: “Tehran believes Washington brokered the Lebanese-Israeli agreement — which contradicts the U.S.-Iran MOU by conditioning Israel’s withdrawal from Lebanon on Hezbollah’s disarmament — to enable Israel to retain key positions that would weaken Hezbollah’s ability to support Iran in the next war. … What is clear is that the outlook of Iranian strategists has hardened markedly in recent weeks as they have become increasingly convinced that Trump intends to restart the war.”
