A member of the Flotilla, Tottenham just arrived in NYC late night Wednesday. He is a former Marine. He stresses:
* The torture and beatings some Flottila members were subjected to is minior comparted to what Palestinian prisonersandhostages are subjected to.
* When Israeli minister Itamar Ben-Gvir derided them, many shouted “Free Palestine” and some were beaten.
* They were kidnapped in international waters.
* It’s up to the people of the world “to shut down this war machine.” He cited the general strikes in Italy and moves to use Uniting for Peace: “We have to use every tool that we have.”
* The level of propaganda and the untrustworthiness of Trump and much of the U.S. government.
