You don’t want to be getting into things that could compromise your security or that of your family.” Also see “Israeli journalist describes threats over reporting on spy chief and ICC” about Haaretz journalist Gur Megiddo.

Dr. Jumaan is president of the Yemen Relief and Reconstruction Foundation. On Thursday around 5:00 p.m. ET, the U.S. and Britain bombed Yemen. The group Ansar Allah, also known as the Houthi movement, reports that 16 people were killed and 42 injured. In response, Ansar Allah just launched a missile attack on a United States aircraft carrier in the Red Sea.

In the IPA news release “Biden Threatens Houthis in Yemen as They Try to Force Israeli Ceasefire” last year, Dr. Jumaan said that Yemen was being targeted “for reminding the world that they need to end the genocide against the Palestinians and allowing humanitarian aid into Gaza is mind boggling. The UN General Assembly voted for an ‘immediate ceasefire’ nearly a week ago by an overwhelming margin — 153 countries voting for it. But Israel’s bombing and killing continues. The Houthis are stating that they are effectively implementing the will of the world.”
